National Minimum Wage Increases 1 April 2020
The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates are set to rise on 1 April 2020 as per previous government publications in December 2019. The current living rate for a worker aged 25 is £8.21 per hour and is set to rise to £8.72.
The NMW is the minimum pay per hour that most employees are entitled to by law. An employee’s age and if they are an apprentice will determine the rate they will receive.
